I already had the Valentine’s day competition lined up, but as the second 30 day challenge was another success – thank you everyone! π – I thought I’d get right on with another!
Again, it’s what it says on the tin – “Name That Logo”. Every day for 30 days, a logo will appear above and you just need to enter the name e.g. Pepsi. Once again, the logo will be cropped or edited out – wouldn’t want to make it too easy for you! There will be all sorts of logos from car makes to beverage brands.
Guess correctly for 2 points or get 1 point just for trying. Entries will be pooled at the end and one winner drawn at random.
The competition will start tomorrow, 15th February for 30 days. The winner will be announced here on 17th March with 24 hours to claim their Β£10 cash prize.
Let’s see how brainwashed we all really are! π
Congrats pink kitten! Hazel/admin, has anyone ever recommended at the end of these 30 day challenges that a table of the top 20/30 members with the most points is posted? Be interesting to see how close we were!
Hi Carl, yes it’s been brought up one other time – I have done top 10s in the past but with these types of comps I get thousands of entries and very often the top 10 all got full marks so there’s not much point publishing the top scores. Also the draw is a pool of every entry, so even if someone only entered once and got 10 points, they have a chance of winning – so who has the most points isn’t very relevant in this format. I always publish the leaderboard if the draw is based on the… Read more Β»
Thank you so much!!!! Buzzing! I’ve not been on the site for a few days but will defo be back daily now ???
Well done winner, I miss this competition already lol, can’t wait to see what the next one is xx
Thanks!
I look forward to this every day!(Doesn’t say much for my social life does it)?lol!?Very addictive, whether it’s kittens/lion’s,jackpots,logos,bombers,jokes,…I’m constantly back….still not won but.. u got to be in it to win it!βΊLOVE THIS SITE!xxx
Yesterday I wrote Midland for HSBC not sure if that will be counted as correct don’t know if I added bank.
You put Midland Bank Lynda, I’m afraid this would be marked as incorrect as this is their logo. Thanks for having a go though π
If you click on the link you will find the logo and some say Midland Bank followinghttps://www.google.co.uk/search?q=midland+bank+logo&espv=2&source=lnms&tbm=isch&sa=X&ved=0ahUKEwj2-Lzb1tPSAhVrIsAKHSVnBRMQ_AUIBigB&biw=1242&bih=580
[edited]
Theoretically Midland Bank would be correct, as HSBC was known as Midland Bank before changing to HSBC. http://logos.wikia.com/wiki/HSBC
Thank you Lisa Admin have got very quite.
Lynda, please give me chance to reply, I run the site on my own and there was no urgent rush as there are still a few days before the points are finalised. I would still say strictly speaking that is not their current logo and hasn’t been for 20 years, but as other members have backed you and I didn’t specifically state “current” logo, I will award the points this time.
Just to clear it up as i have worked for the bank in question for a long time, since 1988 when it was then midland bank, then hsbc took over in 1999, as midland we were under the griffin logo, then the take over by hsbc came about we now adopt the current logo, hope this clears things ups for everyone.
Admin you have gone very quite did you check the link out that I gave you even another person is saying I am right
https://www.google.co.uk/search?q=midland+bank+logo&espv=2&source=lnms&tbm=isch&sa=X&ved=0ahUKEwj2-Lzb1tPSAhVrIsAKHSVnBRMQ_AUIBigB&biw=1242&bih=580
Not sure if you got my reply if you click and copy on this link you will see that some of the logos say Midland Bank as they were called that before HSBC

Deffo 2 answers today so I put both – hope that’s ok x
Hmm, your initial answer is correct but I disagree about the other one you put? They have a black background and white font for their logo as far as I know – correct me if I’m wrong π But you’ll get marked as correct anyway as your first answer was right!
Thanks – I think they both use the same triangles/squares & the background can vary depending on where it appears (also you might have cut out the black background π )
Haha good point Debbi, you’ve got me there π
What was the other answer pleeeeease! I’ve been racking my brain but can’t work out ?
It was First Direct Elsee π
Thank you!
Really look forward to doing the bomber, logo and draws! Think i only missed one logo and ‘bombed’ on a pic! Fingers crossed!x
I’ve got to hand it to you Hazel ???? , you’ve REALLY got my brain working overtime with some of these Logos ! ? I’m absolutely loving this Name that Logo game ! It gets the old grey matter working once I’ve dusted off the cobwebs ! ? I’m gutted I forgot about this comp and missed the 1st 2 days but I’ve completed all the others and got them all correct so far !! You’ve created some fantastic and fun games so far this year so well done ! ??? hopefully we’ll see many more challenging and fun competitions… Read more Β»
Aww thanks for the lovely feedback Maggie, I’ve got a little list of comps to keep us going for a few months! Fingers crossed my new ideas will keep you entertained for a while yet! π
great games, enjoying alot, great work, keeps me on my toes ha ha xx
My page jumped on my phone and I submitted a blank entry by mistake. Done it properly the second time. Hope it counts.
Yes don’t worry Calzone, it counts π
Haze, I put Persil and in brackets ( Unilever ) does my Entry count ?? ? x
I did that with yesterday’s Dove! Lol T.x
Yep as long as you put Persil it counts Maggie x
Not a clue on today’s one.
Yesterday it says persil is the answer, however it is also the same logo for Unilever (which is what I put). Do I get a correct mark for that? Thanks
I did the same. I put unilever.
I think Unilever may own the brand Persil, but they have their own logo.
AHA!! Lol
Absolutely no idea today.
This is driving me mad today – I KNOW I should know it! Think I’ll go & search our cupboards for clues, lol
Today’s has two answers? I put them both… π
Doh – it took me ages to remember one, now you have me wondering about the other, lol
Persil or Omo
One of my favourite logos today. See this one a lot!
Not sure whether or not I’ve entered today ( no.14 ) so I’ve entered just in case. Same answer both times ( if I’ve already entered ! ) βΊοΈ
So I got yesterday’s (well hubby did as I had to ask him, so obvious once he told me) I put chrome but do I still get it right as you have put google chrome (cos really that’s like saying Microsoft internet explorer, no-one says the Microsoft bit)?
Lol I hope hubby gets some of the prize money if you win π Yep Chrome is fine!
He gets enough with all his gadgets lol
OMG. I knew it was familiar as soon as I saw it but it’s taken me a good half hour for the penny to drop! Tricky, i never think of it as a logo:)
These logos are a lot easier than the celeb pics
Uh oh, hope I’m not making them too easy for you now π
Think it’s an age thing π I hadn’t heard of a lot of those celebrities.
Bugger – Just realised I missed yesterday as took wife to have a tooth out… π
I can’t remember if I put an apostrophe in Wall’s or not, does it matter? T.x
It doesn’t matter – I can’t really penalise players for something I did myself lol, I’m normally a stickler for apostrophes as well! π
For number 6 I put “Langnese” ( I grew up in Germany). It’s the same brand, so will I still get the points for it? :S
But it’s not Langnese in this country is it!!
…Still the same brand and logo, just under a different name. Exactly the same with Vauxhall and Opel… Also, why so hostile? π
I think I should award the points as the answer is right – the logo matches the brand Langnese and refers to the same company. I didn’t specify they were UK-marketed logos so Lisa wasn’t to know. I hope that’s fair for everyone π
Phew! Thank you so much! I guess it was just too ingrained in my head that it was Langnese… Will check it up first next time… Thank you π
Sounds fair as the design matches π
Sorry babe I’ve had no proper sleep in a couple of weeks & it was the 20th Anniversary of my Mums death on Sunday I’ve also got other sh*t going on and I really didn’t mean to sound so fractious I was sure I had put a laughing emoji after it!!
It was only now whilst scrolling and catching up that I realised I hadn’t and how hostile it looks and sounds!!
So please forgive my bad humour!!
I really do love you really!! ? T.xx
Oh, I feel so sorry for you! I know what it’s like to lose a loved one, so I’m sending you some warm and soft hugs with this comment! Forget about your original comment…all forgotten π
Thanks Lisa ? T.xx
Just to point out that WALL’S should have an apostrophe…. Just being picky… π
Quite right William, all corrected now π
Doh re y’day! I tried looking at Kelloggs but that wasn’t it then drew a blank
Wow! I swore I knew todays one but couldn’t think of it and where it came from Ive no idea but I searched it on google when it came to me and it was right! Cant believe I remembered that haven’t seen the logo in years
My gosh! #6 took me an age to figure out! Good one π
Hehe thanks Selina π
Number 6 is a really tough one.
But just by luck I was having a conversation with my son about this car just yesterday. π
funny kind of car you must be driving. Must be terrible in hot weather.
Just teasing ppl. Trying too confuse the ones who had no idea what it was lol
well you confused me lol. I gave up trying to figure it out last night. Took one look at it this morning and got it straight away.
stuck on todays (number 6). lol ..youve really got my brain goijng
I can’t believe I struggled with yesterday’s logo & got it so wrong – couldn’t see the woods for the trees!! π
Missed yesterday’s somehow, never mind lol
Loving todays logo. Took me ages to get it, felt like a right idiot when I did. I knew it was familiar.
??? At least you got it in the end ?
I need some help…….. I am REALLY struggling with today’s answer ( No 4 ) and wondered if anybody could please give me a clue ??? ????
Haze, for number 3 I put Vans of the Wall as that was what the logo was, does my answer still count as you’ve only put Vans ??? βΊοΈ
Yep it counts Maggie – Vans is the brand which was included in your answer, Off the Wall is more of a slogan I would say but wouldn’t penalise you for it π
Thanks Haze ! ? I normally put the extra parts of the answers in brackets but forgot this time ! βΊοΈ xx
Loving today’s logo – wonder if anyone will get it!!!
Hehe thanks Barney π
I think this is going to be my favourite “name that” challenge so far!
Cool, thanks Thomas π
Aww gutted missed the first two day & I knew them! Not sure about todays.
Yess love these game comps
Thanks Shelley, nice to hear that people enjoy them π
these little games are fun
Thanks Julie, I’m glad you’re enjoying them π
Working fine, love these 30 day comps!
Thanks Carl π
Really enjoying the comps, great fun trying to figure them out, keep up the good work xxxxxxxxx
Thank you June, glad you enjoy them π
Hi Hazel, I pressed submit with my answer , but the screen stays there – So I don’t know if it took my answer or not. Thanks
Hi Hanna no it’s not come through, could you try again please? I’ve had 16 other entries so far, so hopefully it’ll work. I’ll keep an eye out π
Perfect – it worked this time!
Thanks – I’ve got it π
