February 2019 Anagram – Win £10
Each day in February a new anagram will be displayed below. If you manage to answer a question correctly you will receive 2 entries into the draw. If you get the question wrong you will receive 1 entry (just for giving it a try). All entries will be pooled at the end of the month and one winner drawn at random.
For those who do not know, an anagram is the result of rearranging the letters of a word or phrase to produce other words, using all the original letters exactly once. For example the letters TEARG could be rearranged to make the word GREAT.
The competition started on 1st February 2019 and runs until the end of the month. The last question will be shown on 28th February 2019, with the winner being announced here on 1st March 2019. The winner will then have 24 hours to claim their £10 cash prize.

There was a hardware issue yesterday which was fixed shortly after. It did mean the site was down from around 5pm to just before 10pm unfortunately 🙁

🦋 I had the same problem but finally managed to get on it just before 10pm, I thought it was just me, I tried my iPad then my iPhone, my laptop, my sons laptop, my husbands iphone, his tablet etc,etc ( 8 machines in total I tried it on !😂 ) you get the gist ? I don’t know why I thought it would work on any of the other machines when I couldn’t get it to work on just two !!🤣🤣🦋

Hi Julie. Apologies for this. A very small number of members have been having problems submitting their answers. It has been working for the vast majority of visitors. All worked OK for me. I did get a survey to answer before the anagram was displayed if that makes any difference.
I did have the same problem specifically with clicking it – just a few minutes ago on firefox on mac.
Pressing tab to focus on the button then space bar to submit worked fine though 🙂

Not sure if my comment was autoremoved because of links or if you saw this Daniel – but I did have the same problem with firefox on mac with web console error – e.currentTarget.activeElement.form is undefined index.min .js:30:13624
In the meantime others can use the tab key to change focus to the submit button from the answer field, and then press space to submit the entry – this worked for me at least.

What is wrong with my brain lately ??🤔🤯 2 days ago I typed PORNSTAR into the answer box, I was just about to submit that answer when I realised just in the nick of time that there were 2 letter T’s in the anagram so I quickly changed it to the correct answer. I looked at yesterday’s the other way around, that of carthorse being the clue and nice music as being the anagram. I don’t know why but it looked that way to me. I wasn’t even looking for carthorse when trying to solve it.

I don’t think today’s is possible to answer. I even used an anagram unscrambler and nothing came up. It will be interesting to see what answer comes up tomorrow.
