Congratulations Vanessa.
Well Done Vanessa!
Lucky Vanessa – Hope you claim!
Congratulations vanessa
I put Andy’s surname as well, does this discount me from entry?
I put his surname too.
Hi. Of course not. As long as the answer is correct, that is fine. Good Luck, Daniel
Hairy question today!
Orbital Science Corporation was the answer I came up with too
Hi Linda. I can accept Orbital also. The Pegasus (Orbital) was the world’s first privately developed space launch vehicle, and was launched from beneath a NASA B-52 aircraft. The SpaceX was launched directly by the private company rather than from a NASA aircraft. Thanks, Daniel.
Space X weren’t the first. They were the first with people. Orbital Sciences Corporation’s was the first in April 1990
Yawn
Hello again Stuart. As above, I can accept Orbital. Thanks, Daniel.
whoops i spelt ‘bucks’ wrong yesterday!!! lol
There’s going to be confusion again today 😂
Why’s that it’s quite straightforward?
We will see Heather 😃
I’m confused it has asked me to fill in the answer again? Daniel can you comment please?
I filled in the answer at 13:00 hours roughly and its allowed me to enter again now at 15:40
Hi Stuart. It is possible to submit answers more than once but only your first submission is counted. I can see that your submissions were received at 1:05pm and 3:38pm today, so you’re all set! Kind Regards, Daniel.
My gf used to play bingo for years and she isn’t sure if you mean a bingo card (which most games are played on) or a bingo board played during intervals and has far fewer numbers (in the UK). I’ve put the answer as the bingo card.
How many numbers are there on a standard bingo board ? help, this is confusing as when i play bingo its by book and you mark the numbers, so it would be 90 numbers, if it’s the boards where you swipe it would be 24, but i have also seen boards where there are 15, and that is offline, lol,
oh and the american version is 75, lol
Hi Tracey B. Yes, either (or both) the UK or US answer is accepted. Good Luck, Daniel
Thanks Daniel but i forgot to come back and put my answer in lol, blaming it on a brunette moment haha
I wish it had said game rather than board. The question was not clear
@Tracey B have you ever played the Canadian (presumably the same as the American) game? It’s a nightmare. The playable numbers could be in any of the 5 columns and the paper card is so big it needs to be spread over 2 tables!
sounds like a nightmare lol,
Hi Tracey B. There are two possible answers for today depending on whether you are looking at the UK version or US version. Both answers are accepted. If you are looking at your game card of 15 or 24 numbers though, that is the number of numbers you are looking for, not the total amount on the bingo board itself. There are more numbers drawn than what you have on your game card. Good Luck, Daniel.
Daniel, I think you may be getting confused with boards and cards. They are totally different games! (UK). On the standard swipe 4 column BOARD there are 10 less numbers available to call than there are on a CARD. Both of these are offline. The BOARDS of 15 (16 with one free) and 24 will logically have a different amount of numbers available to call.
Today’s one has two different country versions so I have answered with both hope this is ok.
country, i have a bingo board as my question,
Hi Susan. Yes, there are two possible answers for today depending on whether you are looking at the UK version or US version. Both answers are accepted.
Good Luck, Daniel.
Thank you Daniel
Yay. Today’s question is about my favourite fruit. 😋.
Yay. Today’s question is about my favourite sport.
Is it the Pizza Aisle ? 😀
Knew the answer straight away but had to look up how to spell it!!
Me too! Luckily Alexa does know how to spell.
I agree. The question was in the World, not the UK. General Hospital is the longest running soap opera in the World and is a US soap
Hi David. As replied to the earlier comment – General Hospital had its first episode broadcast on 1st April 1963. Coronation Street started three years earlier in 1960.
See – https://www.guinnessworldrecords.com/world-records/longest-running-tv-soap-opera – The question was indeed in the world (not just the UK), it just so happens the longest running soap opera in the world is from the UK.
@daniel . General hospital is also shown as the longest running soap opera in the guinness book of records.
Hi Khadija. General Hospital is an American Soap Opera which had its first episode broadcast on 1st April 1963. Coronation Street in the UK started in 1960, with the first episode broadcast on 9 December 1960. Regards, Daniel. Today’s question doesn’t state that it is a TV soap so have put the radio one.
I think you’re right!
I googled it and it came up with a tv one which I think everyone is aware of, so I put this.
Today’s could be her maiden or married name so are you allowing both?
Hi Susan. I’ve just been checking up on this to make sure I hadn’t made a mistake. The queen has always had the same surname – both before and after marriage. It is some of her descendants who have had a different surname (according to the official Royal website). All the best, Daniel.
I did read somewhere that The Duke of Edinburgh insisted she took his name after they married. Never mind, it was just one of those questions.
Yes, you’re right Daniel; a queen always retains her dynastic house after marriage. That’s why Victoria was always a Hanoverian monarch, but her descendants were Saxe-Coburg-Gotha.
Today’s question is in American and English!
What is the question?
I had to cheat today and google the answer as I have never watched the programme.
Googling today’s (to try and make sure) gives 2 answers – I’ve put what I believe is the most likely to be meant, though the other came up first in the results.
Only getting one result, don’t know where you got two from?
Just came up with the two on my search results page. I use Bing, rather than Google, so I don’t know if that has anything to do with it.
I thought it was Tennessee however I too googled for clarification and it came up with Illinois! Edited to add there is a Nashville in Illinois
Do we need to put city before the Airport as I’m not sure what the official title is?
Hi Stuart. You can do, but there is no need. As long as it is obvious which airport you are referring to, that is fine. Good Luck, Daniel
