July 2022 – World Flags Challenge – Win £10
Each day in July a new flag will be displayed below. All you need to do is work out which country it represents. If you manage to answer correctly you will receive 2 entries into the draw. If you get the answer wrong you will receive 1 entry (just for giving it a try). All entries will be pooled at the end of the month and one winner drawn at random.
The competition started on 1st July 2022 and runs until the end of the month. The last question will be shown on 31st July 2022, with the winner being announced here on 1st August 2022. The winner will then have 24 hours to claim their £10 cash prize. If you don’t claim your prize by 11am on 2nd August you will unfortunately lose out. No late claims accepted.
Congratulations Patricia, glad you claimed
Congratulations Patricia 😀 Well done
Congratulations Patricia!
You share my birthday, but not my birth date 🙂
I hope Patricia claims, I do the games every month but no luck yet. One day! 🤞
Congratulations Patricia. Hopefully you claim
Congratulations Patricia😊
I could not find a country with today’s flag, but I did find 2 countries that have parts of the flag
I did an image search because it wasn’t in the list of world flags.
I wish I had thought of that
First one I’ve had to look up today. Funny what my memory can recall
My family were most impressed with my flag recognition during the opening ceremony of the Commonwealth Games. I’m not sure it would have been the same story a month ago!
What a very pretty flag today!
Really liking the competition this month.
I would be very surprised if anyone got today’s wrong. 🇺🇦
I still had to look it up. Just had covid. My brain seems to have been wiped clean of any previous learnings.
Hello Hilde, thought that I hadn’t seen your comments recently; I’m sure that your missing brain power will soon come back! Get well soon!
Thanks Christine. I’m okay now. All Covid free. But brain-fog is one of the symptoms of it. Feel so dumb. hopefully it will be restored LOL
Not sure if Daniel wanted the old name or the new name for this countries flag, so I put both.
Hi Gillian. Either is fine. Good luck! Daniel
It’s Fourth of July, Independence Day, a major holiday for us in USA. Lots of fireworks tonight.
Happy 4th of July!
Not to blow my own trumpet, but my knowledge speciality is World flags, if I don’t get them all right I will be very dissapionted haha
Don’t blow your own trumpet wave your own flag instead, got to keep in line with the category Samuel 😉
Same, knowledge of football helps, nice change this month!
Exactly how I know the flags haha
I can see I’m going to be the dunce this month 🤣 I’m rubbish with all but the really obvious flags! But then I’m not a sports fan, so maybe that’s why 😏 Enjoying the change of competition this month though (I like the anagram/missing letter ones but play too many word games, so they’re far too easy lol; the quizzes can sometimes be interesting but in the end you either already know it or simply Google it, & my thoughts on Xmas carols for a month I’ll keep to myself 🤐😆). Nice to feel slightly less thick when it… Read more »
Ps. I would say good luck to everyone, but it doesn’t sound like any of you need it… 😜
I’m like you Sally and live the weird games and anagrams and missing letters, even though since are ready I still find a few hard. I do know some flags but some I did get wrong. I guess then check before putting my answers, sometimes I have surprised myself ha ha ha ☺️ good luck☺️
Well done to Steve, I hope he remembers to check and claim.
Congratulations Steve. Great Job👍
Congratulations to Steve. Hope he claims.
