Evelyn

Yay! Happy to have won. Thank you so much.

GillP

Well done Evelyn😃

krispii

Congratulations!

Susan

Well done! So happy you have claimed 🎉

Stuart

It’s really nice to see somebody claim it!!

Congratulations Evelyn.

Justin

Well done Evelyn! Hope you claim in time. 👍

Alison

The last day! I can’t wait to see what new comp they have thought up for next month 😁

Hilde

As English is not my first language I don’t know the names of the baby animals in general. I’m just satisfied with the 1 point for trying 🙂

Joe

English is my first language and I’m terrible at this

Susan

I was just going to say the same Joe. 😂 I’ve got quite a few of them wrong this month, including yesterday. Great fun though trying to work some of them out. Great game.

Heather10

Baby hedgehog is a hoglet and also known as a piglet so hopefully both answers will be rewarded

Paula

I put hoglet too 🤷‍♀️

Wendy

If piglet is correct, it doesnt come naturally to call them piglets, i just automatically think of pigs, not hedgehogs. But never mind you live and learn as they say and you learn something new everyday. I certainly have with this one 😁

purplevamp

Roll on July. I’m getting so many of these wrong. I didn’t realise there were so many different names for a specific baby animal. You think it’s called one thing but then find out it’s called something entirely different. 😆 It’s all just a bit of fun though x

Jacky

Never heard of a baby hedgehog called a piglet before, the hedgehog rescue people normally call them hoglets?

David

Aren’t they Hoglets?

DivitLad

Polecat 🙂

tracy

Yes it is part of the Polecat family

Stuart

i put Polecat as well

June

I put Polecat and I use to have two Ferrets 😄

hornetcarp

ooooh…..today’s is going to cause controversy!!!! lol

Stuart

I agree. I’m not sure how to answer

Stuart

I’d have never guessed that was a Baboon baby.

Luckily they both call their young the same thing

Jackie

I just put ‘Monkey’. Baboon never crossed my mind!

Eileen

Me too because I googled it and it said monkey

tracy

I put a Macaque infant, but I still get a point for it.

Justin

Same here

Justin

Never ceases to make me chuckle how seriously people take these games.. whether your answer is right or you get it wrong, i’ve gotten 3 wrong so far but i’m not bothered, it’s just abit of fun. Why some player’s seem so adamant that they are right and the actually answer is wrong.. relax folks, just a bit of friendly fun. I’m sure daniel like me and others has a chuckle at player’s comments. Good luck everybody for the rest of the competition, and don’t take it so seriously. 👌

Hilde

Same. It doesn’t matter. Wrong you still get 1 ticket. Sometimes I post that I got it wrong and that I wrote something else mainly to have a good laugh 😀

GillP

Totally agree with you both. I enjoy trying to guess the answer and have a good laugh when I get it wrong, and happy to admit it👍😂😂

Susan

I could understand people taking it seriously if the prize was say a million pounds but it’s ten pounds. TEN POUNDS. I appreciate that this could put food on the table for someone but your chances of winning are pretty slim anyway. I just see it as a bit of fun and if I did win, it would be an additional bonus. I was lucky enough to win the birthdate draw a few months ago. Just enjoy the game and have fun. You still get one entry if you get it wrong. Loving these new games. ❤️

Hilde

Same. I once won one of these contests on here, where you had to answer daily and prize draw at the end of the month. I won the £10 while I did not have every question right that month. So it doesn’t matter if you get things wrong, you can still win 🙂

tracy

Yes, it is a lot of fun I love trying to find the answers to the quizzes. It makes me laugh sometimes when people take it very seriously.

tracy

I put snowy owl chick, not Owlet will my answer be correct or wrong

June

Same here and it was a snowy owl and chick

Heather10

I also put snowy owl chick which is the correct answer

Wendy

I did put Snowy Owl and Owlet

Stuart

Very fluffy today so hopefully I put the correct Answer (19th)

Sally

Interesting one today (18) – I wouldn’t have realised it wasn’t a picture of an adult of the species, if it weren’t for the point of the quiz! Strange how some can look so different (yesterday’s being a classic lol) between young & old, yet other animals don’t really change, except in size I guess…

tracy

I wonder if Ugly Duckling would be accepted for today’s answer lol

purplevamp

I’ve had this song in my head every time I see a baby bird in this quiz

DivitLad

maybe not an ugly duckling at all 🙂

STEVEN

The Queen didnt own ducks though!

purplevamp

I think the answers for today’s one is going to be varied

tracy

me too

Stuart

I agree. I’ve got it wrong based on the answer provided by Daniel.

I put duckling!

krispii

Same!

Hilde

I also put duckling I think

Beverly

the beak’s not very clear in the pic

tracy

I nearly put duckling but then checked geese as the colouring did not quite match any ducklings

Stuart

Surely it Depends how clean they keep themselves 🤣😂

Khadija

Me too

Julie

I did too

Jane

A baby fox is definitely also called a cub!

Khadija

I put Cub for yesterday’s answer.

Beverly

Kits/Cubs or Pups I found

Stuart

Me too as that is what they are known as. I’m intrigued as to where the answers to these are coming from ☹️
