July 2024 – Bob’s Banner Bonanza – Win £10
Embark on a global guessing adventure with our new quiz! Bob is proudly holding flags from around the world, and it’s your mission to identify the country each flag represents. Test your international flag recognition skills and make your best guesses to discover Bob’s diverse origins.
Here’s the catch: if you successfully pinpoint Bob’s home country, you’ll earn an impressive 2 entries into our monthly draw. Even if your guess is off the mark, we appreciate your effort and reward you with 1 entry for participating. At the end of the month, all entries will be pooled together, and we’ll randomly select one lucky winner. Take a shot at the quiz, explore the colorful array of flags, and you might just be our next champion! Where in the world is Bob from?
The competition started on 1st July 2024 and runs until the end of the month. The last question will be shown on 31st July 2024, with the winner being announced here on 1st August 2024. The winner will then have 24 hours to claim their £10 cash prize. If you don’t claim your prize by 11am on 2nd August 2024 you will unfortunately lose out. No late claims accepted.
Well done Jen, hope you claim in time. 👍Good luck all on august’s game. 👌

Why have I got a message saying access blocked?
It was something you said…..
Hi Mandy. We are testing some new spam filtering software at the moment. It is doing its job well but will inevitably blocked some genuine requests. I’ve made a change so you should be fine now. All the best, Daniel.
Thank you
Cymru!! 🏴
You are not supposed to write the answer here
It’s not that deep babe
You’re still not supposed to write it, deep or not.
Okay lol hope you’re having a lovely day ❤️
Looks like this person has now gone
I missed South Korea flag 🙁 I usually do this first thing in the morning for the day before but I had an early shift and forgot about it. Routine disrupted. Oh well.
I was surprised about my husband knowing today’s flag, but I shouldn’t be because he is very knowledgeable lol
Strange google is coming up with not a thing for me on image search though I pretty sure of the country anyway
If you click on the actual flag when the image appears it will then search on that for you. I wasn’t sure of this flag so that is what I did.
done that, still coming up with nothing found worked yesterday and is working with other images
hacked by north korea maybe 🙂
lol probably
I checked the Country Flags of the World website and today is on there, I still checked even though my husband told me what it was, look under S
Oh thats strange, it worked for me 😀
My 12 year old knows all of these, I don’t know how, but he does lol
Does he play video games? Games where players have the flag of their country in their profile? Some games have it. I play a game where my country flag is displayed next to my username on leaderboard when I win in the game.
Yeah he does and also, he has a poster near the end of the bed with all the flags of the world on which when he was younger we used to say the names of the places. He’s a sponge for information lol
He sounds great, you must be very proud of him 😊 especially if he plays video games but is still like that – my son is 19 now (it went so quickly 😦) but as soon as he got started with gaming, even just things like Minecraft & Roblox when he was younger, that became ALL he was interested in practically overnight! It honestly makes me wanna cry now, when I come across some of his old toys/games/books (he’s basically moved out now, but his bedroom’s still in the bombsite state he left it lol, and I never did have… Read more »
My son is 28 now and still living at home. He has autism (not as severe like Rainman though) and stays in his room all the time. He was six years old when his uncle gave him a PS1 for his birthday. That is when it all started. He got sucked into the virtual digital world and still lives there LOL I think the only toy he played with besides the PS1 was Lego which I still have.
He doesn’t really play with traditional games anymore just loves his Xbox but he is a clever lad
Am I the only one who put Bouvet Island for no.10? Apparently, as they are a dependent, they use the Norwegian flag, so both answers would be correct, but it doesn’t include it above.
In my defence, ‘B’ comes before ‘N’, so if you were to look it up, you would like to Bouvet Island first… not that I looked it up. 😉
Yes, you probably are the only one.
Probably, i put Norway
Probably but if it makes you feel any better, I put Denmark hahaha
bouvet island is not a country
Don’t ask Richard Hammond about this one!
Today’s stumped me! I had to Google. It was the image in the centre that I don’t think I’ve seen before. I’m usually pretty good with flags, just not today. 😂
Same, I usually know all the flags, never seen this before with the bird and at first I even thought it was a turkey LOL took screenshot and then Google and then I realised it’s not a turkey.
Your answer made me go back and click on the answer to look again (afraid Ijust Google-lensed it on the day; partly cos I was in a rush but also because I’m terrible on flags 😏) & this time I really zoomed in and just… WOW, definitely not a turkey 🦃 lol, I agree! I was going to look up about it, but just for fun I’ll make it a challenge to any/everybody who’s read this far… 🤣 Does anybody here know (without searching themselves, obviously!) what it actually represents/the meaning of it? No prize I’m afraid, but much admiration… Read more »
Ps. It was only when I zoomed in so closely for that, that I also realised that what I’d been assuming to be the huge spliff Bob the penguin was smoking in each picture, is actually a white scarf or something equally innocent 😇😏🤣
I SHOULD HAVE KNOWN THE FIRST 2 BUT LIKE TODAY’S FLAG I HAD TO LOOK THEM UP, I FELT STUPID NOT RECOGNISING THEM. I KNEW YESTERDAY’S THOUGH LOL.
I second guess myself all the time. You know the answer but think “what if it’s not?”
I was stumped by the first one because I expected it to be (as in Pointless) “a country that is a sovereign state that is a member of the UN in its own right” so I wasn’t expecting England!! I kicked myself when I Googled ‘red Cross on white background’ and got the answer England 🤣🤣. Mind you, I learnt my lesson quickly and didn’t need to check day 2 🥴
When watching a quiz show, I always groan when the question is about flags. So far I have known the first two; I’m quite proud of myself… so far.
I’m sure that flags the one in Tenerife lol
Bob is a bit of a home bird I’m guessing 😁
