The 28 Day February Anagram Challenge
Each day in February a new anagram will be displayed below. If you manage to answer a question correctly you will receive 2 entries into the draw. If you get the question wrong you will receive 1 entry (just for giving it a try). All entries will be pooled at the end of the month and one winner drawn at random.
For those who do not know, an anagram is the result of rearranging the letters of a word or phrase to produce other words, using all the original letters exactly once. For example the letters TEARG could be rearranged to make the word GREAT.
The competition started on 1st February 2018 and runs until the end of the month. The last question will be shown on 28th February 2018, with the winner being announced here on 1st March 2018. The winner will then have 24 hours to claim their £10 cash prize.
Congratulations Julia T.x
Congratulations Julia!
Well done julia.
Thank you Daniel for this month’s fun.
Well done Julia.
Well done Julia
Congratulazione to Julia!
Congratulations…
No 8 out of the 10 cats involved with todays one though! ☺😉
Thanks for this month’s competition Daniel I really enjoyed it.
Good Luck Everybody T.x
Thanks for he fun in February Daniel, really enjoyed it. xxJane
Good luck everyone, fingers crossed 😁
Bit of a conundrum today! 😉
Has to be my favourite family meal!!
Mine too 😁
Mmm…yorkshire puds and gravy, eat it with everything x
Oops, my computer was running so slow that I typed the answer twice, but only one was showing when I pressed submit. But it chose just that moment to speed up and put in the second answer. Hope Daniel will realise what a wally I am and have pity.
🦋 Daniel has said previously that the first answer is the one that counts and if you’ve put the same answer twice then you’ve nothing to worry about. Good luck☺️🦋
Today’s one really had me stumped. Then suddenly I twigged what it was!!!
Todays is easy for me, I went to see it filmed 3 weeks ago!
🦋 I must be the only weird one on here ‘cos I put direct debit !😳🤣🦋
That makes two of us. 😂
Three of us 🙂
It is Direct Debit. We’re all weird then 🙂
Doh! I put credit debit even though I thought it was weird :-/
Actually, I also put credit debit and it’s perfectly plausible because banks have debit and credit entries on their statements. I never even considered it might be wrong, particularly as the letters matched and so did the clue. Will you take pity on us, Daniel?
And here’s another who went for Credit Debit!
And i put credit debit too. Hopefully Daniel will accept it x
Hi Aileen. Due to the large amount of people putting ‘Credit Debit’ instead of ‘Direct Debit’ I will also be accepting that one as the correct answer. It is still relevant to the clue and I therefore don’t believe it should be marked as incorrect. Good Luck, Daniel
I put the same, as they are both banking terms. Fingers crossed Daniel takes pity on us. x
Me too!
I nearly did, but just in time saw direct, which made a little more sense. You still get an entry I think for putting the wrong answer, hopefully 😃
Due to the large amount of people putting ‘Credit Debit’ instead of ‘Direct Debit’ I will also be accepting that one as the correct answer. It is still relevant to the clue and I therefore don’t believe it should be marked as incorrect. Good Luck, Daniel
Thats very generous of you, as the word could have been direct or credit. There you go peeps, your answer has been accepted. 😁. Good luck everyone.
Thanks for that – jolly decent of you 🙂
Hi. Just wanted to know if the anagram has to be answered with all capitals. I answered with only the first letter capital today by accident. Thanks
Hi H. No, it doesn’t matter if you put your answer in uppercase, lowercase or a mix. As long as the answer is correct! Good Luck, Daniel
Are Freudian slips allowed in today’s answer? 😉
war criminal
🦋 my favourite kind ! 🦋
Good Luck Maggie! Daniel
Isn’t There a letter missing ?
No, just one T! 😉
Hi chris, no it looks right to me and this is yummy.
Very appropriate anagram for today. 😁🌷
Thanks Wendy. Good Luck in the competition! Daniel
I’ve done the anagram a few times now but won’t win because. I’ve never won on anything not even the draws I’ve filled questionnaire after questionaire for months and months now and a bit if coffee or a few sample shampoos that’s it its a scam the lot of it
Ask for your money back then….
bye then, fool
Its only a scam if they take money off you. Check facts first. This is a great site, the game is for a month, you dont win today for answering the anagram. We have winners on the birthday draws everyday, but everyone needs to come and check daily and claim. Its fun and exciting, plus it costs NOTHING.
that ones debatable
Totally agree
Do you still get marked as correct if you spell the answer wrong?
Hi Heather10. Not for anagrams. They have to be correct. Spelling isn’t too important when we run a quiz, but need to be correct for anagrams. If an answer is wrong or spelt incorrectly you still get your daily one point entry (rather than two for getting it right). Good Luck, Daniel.
Hi Daniel, my phone threw wobbly whilst submitting today’s answer so I’m not sure if you will have received it. I’ve sent it again just in case. Thanks.
Hi liverpoolgirl. No problem, only the first entry counts so you will be fine either way. Good Luck, Daniel.
You havent updated the clue, so ill give it a go.
Clue – you may have one of these in july/ august.
Well spotted! I’ve just spent ages wondering why the clue didn’t make sense.
Hi Wendy. Thanks for pointing this out. I did correct it on the day after being made aware of this! Thanks again and good luck, Daniel.
Fingers crossed people!! 😉
Not sure if my answer fits the clue but it seems the only likely answer to the anagram
I agree! I think clue is still yesterday’s.
Hi Ruskin. Thanks for pointing this out. I did correct it on the day after being made aware of this! Thanks again and good luck, Daniel.
Apologies if I have submitted twice – lappy crashed in between so I’m not sure if it went
Good luck everyone with February’s Quiz. Thanks Daniel for the January fun and in advance for February. x
