The gremlins have been back in the workings I see. Everything will make sense as soon as Daniel can fix it, I am sure.

Riddle 28 “What smells good, but tastes bad” the answer now says “Legs”
And riddle 29 “What has a bottom at the top?” is now saying “Tongue”

I promise you, my tongue is not going near any bottom, but I am open to chomping in one of my hubby’s legs, i’ve heard it tastes like chicken 🤣

I’ ve put legs again, hopefully it’ll get accepted

i missed yesterdays , so caught me out lol

Stuart

Why again?? it’s todays clue, yesterdays was tongue!!!

Alison

Yesterday’s question was “what’s tastes good, but smell bad”… You put ‘legs’ for that?

You have very weird foreplay. 🤣

tracy
Member
tracy

Legs were not yesterday’s answer on the 28th; it was Tongue. Today, the 29th, that is Legs. There must have been a glitch in the workings.

Click on the last 2 answers and they have the wrong picture

tracy

Yes, it’s just the answers that are in the wrong place, lol. I am sure Daniel will fix it and get the gremlins out again.

Yesterday’s (28th) answer is down as legs? I didn’t know that legs taste better than they smell lol

Lostkiwi

Think it’s broke again! Birthdate and survey draws still yesterdays (28th) Damn those gremlins 😊

Hilde

According to AI, nr. 28 is cheese LOL

So I think yesterday I put the dark and the answer was darkness. Would that get accepted. Are these marked by Daniel himself or automatically on a computer?

tracy
Member
tracy

I put light as my answer because I thought it meant the stars; more light means less of the night sky we can see.

Alison

I don’t think I have got the full clue today, I just have “Up” and “but doesn’t move”.

Can someone tell me what I’m missing?

Susan
Member
Susan

What goes up but doesn’t move.

Maurice
Member
Maurice

Yeah it is – still dangerous since the likely right answer occurred to me after I put another one I thought right until a second after I hit ‘submit’.

Alison

Thank you Susan 😁

Today’s could be one of two. But judging by the photo I went with the visual clue

Jane

I actually put “chair” on the basis that a table can sometimes have more than four legs but I don’t think I’ve ever seen a chair with more than four. Hope that chair is accepted as a correct answer!

purplevamp
Member
purplevamp

I nearly put chair, which as you say, makes more sense, but went with table in th end.

Heather10

I think I put desk but I can’t remember lol

Hilde

Not totally sure about the one on 21st but making a good guess anyways 🙂

Hilde

Seems I missed the one about the fence.. I don’t recall missing it. Oh well.

Alison
Member
Alison

It was something like “what runs around your garden, without moving”.

tracy
Member
tracy

What runs around the backyard but never moves?

tracy
Member
tracy

I missed 15 and have no idea why. Brain fog on my part.

Hilde
Member
Hilde

I know the feeling.. I check every morning as a routine as I don’t have time later as I have to work lates mostly. I check all the draws and do the comb (before 11am when it changes). I don’t remember missing this one. True brain fog.

Sometimes the security that Daniel has had to put on this site goes a bit mad and blocks people from logging in without permission from Daniel. It did it to me a few months ago.

Wendy

Oooppss… I put under for the paint one, as in under coat lol.

Stuart

Today’s 13.01.25.

Not technically true.

tracy
Member
tracy

True, it could have more than one letter, but this clue is right for the game.

Stuart
Member
Stuart

Exactly but it referred to one, hence why I commented

Thanks to all the people who voted down. Appreciated 😁😂🤣😘

I don’t see any visual clues for this months puzzles – any suggestions

DivitLad

most are in the picture

Alison
Member

In all honesty, the visual clues are making this far too easy, if you go onto a riddle site, they don’t use visual clues, but you can reveal the answers if you get stuck 🌝

tracy
Member
tracy

But this is just for fun so it doesn’t matter if they are easy.

Alison
Member
Alison

Of course, it’s just that I like riddles, so I like to try to work them out.

It’s not an issue, these monthly competitions are great, I don’t think I would have the patience to try to think of something new to do every month.

tracy

I am really enjoying this month’s comp. It makes the brain work a bit.

David

I put glass, as that is the bit that’s transparent

Jackie
Member
Jackie

I considered that (after putting window) but comforted myself with the fact that early windows did not have glass.

David
Member
David

If they did not glass, they must of just been holes in the wall.

Jackie

Yes, they were!

I thought it was every month, so I put if it is asking which has just 28, then it’s one, but if not, it is all 12. I have no idea if Daniel took my answer as correct or not.
