All entries will be pooled at the end of the month and one winner drawn at random.
The competition started on 1st January 2018 and runs until the end of the month. The last question will be shown on 31st January 2018, with the winner being announced here on 1st February 2018 at 11am. The winner will then have 24 hours to claim their £10 cash prize.
Nice One Patricia T.x
Yayyyy!!!! Well done Everyone. Enjoyed that 🙂
Well done Patricia
Congratulations Patricia
Well done Patricia
Good luck everyone
Googling today’s (as a non-view of Coronation Street) has me puzzled as the person was allegedly trying to win back her “partner” but was he also her ex-husband? I haven’t a scooby! Let’s hope this isn’t another controversy (though I suppose they keep the page lively which is good for revenue 😉 )
Same here. I don’t watch it either. Even googling I still wasn’t 100% sure so just guessed at the answer!!
I read the comments and completely forgot the question 🙂 I put his name instead, doh:D
I wasn’t sure which country you were referring to for the Bridge of Sighs… there are three at least and I don’t mean the cities mentioned below by Phil (Sorry Phil)… I will try to remember to post all 3 I know of tomorrow. X
I purposely didn’t mention the one I assumed they were looking for. Seems they accepted all the answers anyway.
oh well i put Israel down lol, thinking wailing wall I think lol
“In which country is the Bridge of Sighs?”
Which one?
Bridge of Sighs (Oxford)
Bridge of Sighs (Cambridge)
Or another one?
I spent less than a minute on google and without even clicking any of the links, just reading the couple of lines under each result, it’s clear that both those are just nicknamed that *because* of the original – in fact the Oxford one has it’s own real name (Hertford Bridge) & presumably the Cambridge one is the same. So it’s pretty obvious which is the actual answer!
Never mind the bridge – this seems to be the page of sighs since the Toy Story incident! Lol
and today’s question might cause even more disagreement as I’m aware of 2 countries with a bridge of that name. I’ve gone for the more famous one.
I did the same 🙂
Daniel I believe the answer to yesterday’s question maybe different what you posted. he is the 2019 voice
Tim Allen voiced Buzz Lightyear in all the films released to date as far as I’m aware. What do you think the answer is?
I went with Patrick warburton
I think Patrick only voiced him in the American TV Series called Buzz Lightyear of Star Command x
Check out iMDB as it lists all the films, games and tv series and voices of each character. The question was: “In Toy Story, who provides the voice of Buzz Lightyear?” Tim Allen is the voice of Buzz in all 4 films.
As you have said toy story I have gone with the voice for that one as it was a different person for toy story 3
Who told you that? Same person for all 4 as far as I am aware.
Nope a very quick google of the cast shows different & toy story 4 which is not due for release till next year has a totally different person doing the voice
I listed the voice from films, tv series & games as they were each different & it wasn’t specified which 🙂
I just typed in google voice of buzz Lightyear & gave me a couple of different options. further looking shows you the different names
Check out iMDB as it lists all the films, games and tv series and voices of each character. The question was: “In Toy Story, who provides the voice of Buzz Lightyear?” Tim Allen is the voice of Buzz in all 4 films.
But it didn’t say “in the Toy Story film(s)” therefore it could have been the series or even the games
The series aren’t called “Toy Story”, they have a different name.
The question was Toy Story (not Toy Story 2, 3, 4 etc) and that was Tim Allen. I think it was also him in 2 and 3.
Very random question today, haven’t heard that song in years!
This song always reminds me of the kids show Recess when I watched it with my eldest son when he was little, when Mikey sang it at the end. Groovy!!!
I answered Pie, hope it still counts 🙂
Hi Paul. Don’t worry about spelling. As long as it is obvious what you mean your answer will be counted. Good Luck, Daniel
I’ve put the abbreviation & full name for today’s answer, not sure if the spelling is correct though!
The abbreviation is fine. Don’t worry too much about spelling. As long as it is clear what you mean the answer will be marked as correct. Good Luck! Daniel
🦋Thanks Daniel, I’m loving these quizzes as they give the old grey matter an airing🤯😂🦋
Feels like a trick question today but I have gone for the obvious (fingers crossed)
Hi Ruskin. I never do any trick questions. All questions are as you see them, however obvious the answer may be! Today is a particularly easy one! Good Luck, Daniel
Not sure what I put as my answer yesterday but it definitely wasn’t The Beatles, oops!
Hi Hollie. Unfortunately you put ‘The Blackjacks’ which wasn’t the correct answer. You still get one entry though for trying! Good Luck, Daniel
Today’s answer is my star sign ~ the best!! :o)
Mine too! And the only star sign that isn’t a living thing 🙂
this is just for everyone
All members of the site can enter the monthly challenges!
Good luck 🍀
I submitted the title instead of the artist!! How do I re enter?
Hi Angie. Unfortunately the system will only accept the first submitted answer per day. Good Luck with this months competition, Daniel
Today’s question has taken me straight back to my youth!
And then I got the wrong duo!!!!!
I was really going to try not to miss a question this month, and i’ve missed yesterday already!! Not sure how that happened actually.
I would like to point out that MMXVIII is the Roman number, therefore it is the answer to the question.
always a clever one!!lol x
Happy New Year Daniel and all players. Like Quiz’s but am really missing the Anagram Challenge, so hope there might be a February one?
Happy New Year to you too Christine. Keep your fingers crossed Christine, you may be lucky! 🙂 Good Luck, Daniel
🦋Daniel, I sent in my entry yesterday with both the English and Spanish name on the same form ( English 1st ) as I wasn’t sure whether you wanted the English or Spanish version so played safe and put both.😱🦋
Hi Maggie. That is fine. Good Luck, Daniel
