October 2024 – Culinary Conquest – Win £10

Welcome to Culinary Conquest, the ultimate test of your culinary anagram-solving skills! Every day, we present you with a tantalizing puzzle where the letters of a food item are scrambled. Your mission? Unscramble the letters to reveal the delicious answer, with the anagrams alternating between sweet and savoury temptations.

Simply type your guess into the text box below, and let the taste bud-teasing challenge begin. Will you conquer the daily anagram and uncover the culinary secrets hidden within?

If you manage to find the answer that we are looking for you will receive 2 entries into the draw. If you get it wrong you will receive 1 entry (just for giving it a try). All entries will be pooled at the end of the month, and one winner drawn at random.

The competition started on 1st October 2024 and runs until the end of the month. The last question will be shown on 31st October 2024, with the winner being announced here on 1st November 2024. The winner will then have 24 hours to claim their £10 cash prize. If you don’t claim your prize by 11am on 2nd November 2024 you will unfortunately lose out. No late claims accepted.

adcrust is an anagram of creme caramel if you change some of the letters

You do have all the right letters if you go posh and call it crème brûlée, atlhugoh I’m a bit dsylixec, so waht do I konw.

Note: No offence intended, I do suffer from a mild case of dyslexia, when I told my dad he said “don’t worry darling, I’ll buy you a new pair of shoes”, he either suffers from ‘spoken word dyslexia’, or stupidly.

Today’s one was yesterdays? I’m confused. And the number 30 wasn’t yesterday’s.

Me, too. Yesterday’s picture was of nachos, and the anagram was the same. Today’s picture is for the 29th, but the anagram is new. I think the gremlins have been in the works again.

I am finding the ‘sweet’ ones much easier than the ‘savoury’.
What does that say about me?!

Catheloco is very versatile, it can be eaten for breakfast, lunch, dinner and snacking in-between… or is that just me. 😳

Another of my weaknesses today, I have had a sweet tooth for as long as I can remember.

Regarding yesterday’s answer, Krispy Kreme’s might have all the toppings and maybe you like jam, but I think a proper British seaside doughnut is the best.
