It seems there is a letter missing today?
???
seems there are 2 versions of spelling!
In French it’s not missing, that’s where they originate.
The one with an extra letter has coconut in it, this version doesnt. I think 😁
Not a fan of these.
You can’t have ever had a nice one then because they are the best, in my opinion. 🙂
Neither am I Khadija🤢
😢they’re ok, but not something I’d have voluntarily. One bite is more than enough.
I am not a fan either
No offence but sometimes these sound like it’s written in Welsh 😛
I see folks looking for reactions to their comments. Always going to be a few out there, you get them everywhere it seems. 😴
Just did todays competition and just eaten this exact dish! 😆
I’m jealous! It’s a great dish.
I was out with my Mum last Saturday, and we were both having today’s dish.
Another of my favourite desserts.
I’m sensing you like your desserts 😁
Only a select few.
Nothing to do with the game, but did anyone else see the northern lights tonight. So amazing, i can tick that one off my bucket list. 😁👍
missed yet again, maybe help if I stepped outside and not just look out window 🙂
No I always miss anything like that and would love to see them
I could see them by eye this time, but there were more colours in May. Not complaining though, they are stunning whatever colour they are!
I missed them again! From the news and online they’re beautiful but best seen through the lens of a camera is that right?
Yes Susan, with the naked eye i was seeing just red, but thru my camera lens it was showing red, pink, blue and greens. Beautiful.
So good job I use this site and not my husband, half way down and add for ‘Natalie ‘ very scantly dressed…
I asked my husband what he thought today’s was, and he came up with SCOAT. I have no idea where his head is or what a Scoat is. Do you have any ideas?
A Scottish goat?
Old word meaning to prop or to scotch – in Webster’s 1913 according to Wiktionary
I thought it was toast when i first saw it, then looked at the picture and thought, thats not toast and wheres the other t. Doh! 🙃
My favourite dessert today
I had to use a anagran solver today. Here in the US I never heard of the #9 quiz dessert. Is it good and what’s it taste like?
A bit like banana creme pie but slimier with toffee in it.
As a Brit I assumed it was a US dessert, given the fact that they have a large range in this category and we often use it for savory, but no, apparently it was most likely invented in East Sussex, so yes, a British dessert.
You learn something new everyday.
I was unable to log on this site yesterday for the number 7 so I have put on today’s number 8 and this was no fault on my behalf I had been mysteriously blocked by this site how bizarre.
Twice this week now missed yesterday’s number 9 and number 7 . Nobody replies back from FBL
So far I’ve got them all right, pretty straightforward, I wouldn’t say they’ve been difficult so far. I think a few on here look for reactions in their comments, you can tell with the way they word things. 🤔
omg how thick am I, got home from work and showed hubby said what do you think this is? strawberry lifter etc, and then said to him all the others have been anagrams and it was at that point I realised (crying face)
I have got all the others straight away, this one took me a bit longer, I don’t mean to make you feel bad when I say it was only 10 seconds longer, but it has been the most difficult. 😊
well makes no sense to me today I’m afraid 🙁
It’s not a great picture. Maybe if it showed a layer of custard and some cream on top it would help.
Yes, today’s looks like a cake but it’s not.
The Strawberries look like little scared faces 😂🤣
It confused me too, I was trying to think of a cake, but came up blank.
Technically, that picture is of Farfalle pasta, but it’s all the same in the end 😉. I am enjoying this month’s puzzles, nice and easy xx
Yes I put in Raviolii and then Farfalle was the in the photo.
my husband came up with Race Mice for today’s clue lol
In his defence, it is a better use of the letters than when he guessed Kedgeree, but I won’t be trying any Race Mice for dinner. 😆
Every answer is wrong with him as he is not trying to answer them, he is just being funny, to make me laugh.
Is it possible to have these as text along with the images of the words please? My screen reader is struggling tbh, sorry!
Hi Troye. Thanks for your message. Yes, no problem at all. I will see what I can do. All the best and good luck! Daniel
Thank you 🙂
I showed my husband today’s anagram and he came up with Kedgeree. Very helpful lol.
