Here’s the twist – your participation could lead to victory! Successfully guess the movie quote, and you’ll earn 2 entries into our monthly draw. Even if you take a shot and miss, you won’t leave empty-handed – 1 entry is yours just for giving it a try. At the end of the month, we’ll pool all entries and draw one lucky winner at random. It’s not just about movies; it’s about the thrill of the challenge. Let the quotes guide you on a journey through cinematic excellence and, who knows, you might be the next lucky winner!”
The competition started on 1st September 2024 and runs until the end of the month. The last question will be shown on 30th September 2024, with the winner being announced here on 1st October 2024. The winner will then have 24 hours to claim their £10 cash prize. If you don’t claim your prize by 11am on 2nd October 2024 you will unfortunately lose out. No late claims accepted.

Since joining this site I don’t think there has been a bad competition month, I have enjoyed them all as it is a bit of fun, some I have had to search for the answers and some not like this month I have only had to look up one. Thank you Daniel for creating this site and for keeping it going.

Same for me not been cinema for years, nothing appeals to me enough now, the thought of sitting in a cinema now with others would irritate me as i get very irritated by people. And to tracey’s comment about not seeing No.4, i’ve never seen No.2, it’s never appealed to me and got no intentions of ever watching it or the franchise. Superman (1978) for me was amazing, as a child and to this day i still love it, even tho i was born til 82. Hope everyone is enjoying the the film guessing, i know i’am. Thanks daniel. 👍
I loved Superman too, it was fantastic, The last few times my OH and I have been to the cinema the screen has been quite empty, one day we went we were the only people watching the film, I cannot remember which film it was though.
Every time I hear Superman theme music on the radio (classicfm) I get goosebumps and I also turn up the radio because I just love it. I’ve never known a cinema to be empty, i’d love that! My last time that I went to a cinema was in America to watch World War Z, i loved the film and watched it a few times since.. I love anything apocalyptic or based on true events. Today’s film is the first one I did not know and had to look up. I don’t think I have ever watched it, I also don’t remember seeing No 4, but have the rest of them. This month’s comp is a lot of fun, but am annoyed with myself for missing No 5.
I am enjoying this month’s game and as I see again people take it to seriously it’s just a bit of fun. There is no need to take it seriously. So far I’ve got them all right I wonder how many I’ll get right. People’s comments on here make me laugh when they say the answers are wrong. I sometimes scroll down just to look at the comments 😄👍.
It is not about taking the game too seriously, if you are playing a game you want it to be right, there is no need to criticise people for that.

Day 8 answer is WRONG as the quote is from the 2nd film, Back To The Future Part II, 1989.

That’s what I thought but the Day 1 answer was Terminator 2: Judgement Day and not Terminator so guessing we have to correctly identify the exact film and not the franchise

Hi Khadija. Due to getting a lot of robots signing up for account and trying to spam I installed some filtering software a month or two ago. It has been working great but unfortunately a side effect of this is that some genuine visitors occasionally are getting blocked. Where I see this happening I allow access. I did miss seeing that day’s birthday lotteries.
I can honestly say this is the scariest film I have ever seen. I watched it without my parents knowing when I was six years old, and I have never been able to watch the full film since. I have a phobia of fish too, and can only put that down to this film!

Well there’s definitely no possible sequel to this film, so no confusion there!
There is one! Well, sort of. Not an official sequel to today’s answer, but ‘II’ came out in 2010. Unsurprisingly, it’s really not worth the bother.
I never knew that, so it peaked my interest and apparently there is a supernatural horror sequel iii, I am going to guess it is just as good as ii.
